The Killer Thriller Barbeque Philosophy
Hailing from the great state of Illinois, Corey “C” Anders, developed his craft from generations of “q-oligists” before him. He infused these early lessons with cooking secrets gifted to him during his travels playing international basketball to create a unique approach to cooking, flavor, and sharing his barbeque blessings.

You should know your meal was prepared with pride & dedication to exceptional quality cuts, handling standards, and killer thriller taste.
Each meal is unique as menu items are refined over time and custom requests are welcomed (preferences for taste, mild vs heat, and made for pick-up vs onsite cooking at your home or private event – there is something special for everyone).
CJ Anders (25 years service) & Curtis Anders (31 years service) McLean County Detention Facility, Normal IL.
Backed by Black & Blue
The foundation of our philosophy is grounded in honor and respect for those who came before us - badged with dedicated service.
Corey's father, Curtis Anders, served for 31 years in corrections at McLean County Detention Facility.
Corey's big bro, "CJ" Anders (1971-2016), similarly served for over 25 years at McLean County Detention Facility.
Both Curtis and CJ were recognized multiple times as Correctional Officer of the Month, earned Authorized Decoration Awards, and were highly regarded by coworkers and justice-involved/impacted individuals alike.
CJ's legacy is felt through the smiles and laughter of his daughters (Sierra and Shelby) and also through the Anders' passion for grillin'. Each time the grill sparks - we know CJ is shinin' as we carry forward his legacy of exceptional barbeque and animated grill-side conversation.
